The relationship is the reason

Mothers and other caregivers carry essential roles in children's lives. f3TCh gives focused attention to one vital relationship within that larger family and community circle: the bond between a child and their father.

Camping, canoeing, shared meals, campfires, and time outdoors create opportunities for connection. Fathers and children spend time together, face small adventures together, and leave with stories that belong to them. The activities are tools. The purpose is to help children rebuild and fortify strong loving bonds with their father.

Rebuild and fortify

Not every father-child relationship arrives at the same place. Some fathers and children need room to reconnect after distance or a difficult season. Others already share a loving bond and come to keep investing in it. Returning fathers also help create the welcoming community experienced by families attending for the first time.

Camp is not a counseling program and does not promise that one weekend will solve every challenge. It creates meaningful opportunities from which stronger relationships and lasting memories can grow.

Accessible by design

Camp f3TCh has historically remained free for participating families. Volunteers, donors, sponsors, and community partners make the experience possible and help ensure that a family's finances are not the deciding factor.
